Default 3-week track

A sensible starting order.

Use this when you have a solid C01 foundation but limited hands-on experience with the new C02 topics.

Week 1

Foundation models + Amazon Bedrock

Model selection, customization choices, evaluation, guardrails, prompt management, cost, latency, and operational tradeoffs.

8–12h
Week 2

RAG + agentic workflows

Knowledge bases, chunking, retrieval, reranking, refresh cycles, agent tools, state, orchestration, and failure handling.

10–14h
Week 3

Production readiness

Deployment automation, observability, security, responsible AI controls, model and prompt testing, plus mixed scenario review.

8–12h

Plan rule: Spend at least half your time building or troubleshooting realistic workloads. Reading alone is not a strong proxy for the hands-on experience AWS recommends.

Keep the plan tied to the guide.

The detailed task statements—not third-party question banks—are the source of truth for scope.
